INDENTCommander Frederick White, Royal Navy, (1792-1859), born Norwich, entered Royal Navy, 3 September 1805 as 1st Class Volunteer in H.M.S. Africa; served at the battle off Cape Trafalgar (medal and clasp), was wounded, and promoted Midshipman; in H.M.S. Orestes was present at the attack on Copenhagen 1807; Lieutenant 1812; transferred to the Coast Guard, 1841; Commander 9 November 1846.
