INDENT Second Lieutenant W.H.G. Meire commissioned 5 February 1915 from the Ceylon Planter's Rifles Corps, accompanied 9 (Service) Battalion to France 30 August 1916 and was killed in action at Hulloch Quarries 26 September that year
