INDENTCaptain Patrick Noel Kennard of Beckenham, Kent, born 1893, entered the East Yorkshire Regiment as 2nd Lieutenant, 1913 - advanced to Lieutenant, 1914 and Captain September, 1915. He was killed on the Somme in the Battle for Bazentin Ridge 14 July, 1916 and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial
