Captain Rees Tudor Evans and Second Lieutenant Richard Stanley Evans, two brothers serving in the 5th Bn. Welsh Regiment were both killed in Gallipolli during the same action and on the same day 10 August 1915 - they have no known grave and they are both commemorated on the Cape Helles Memorial. Nine Officers and 124 Other Ranks were listed as casualties during this action (see pages 301, 302 Vol II Gallipoli of the Official History for details).
