(b) Three Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes Badges, Homestead Lodge No. 9056, one silver-gilt and enamel, two metal-gilt and enamel, all named to Edward James, with named Certificate of Affiliation, and an Overseas Buffaloes Association Badge, metal-gilt and enamel
(c) Five metal Regimental cap badges, four Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, one Royal Warwickshire, and two metal shoulder titles
(d) Two 'Chindit' cloth Badges with printed explanatory enclosures, and a 'Chindit' cloth shoulder title
(e) A silk square 'Escaping Map', printed with maps of Central and Northern Burma, in canvas pouch
(f) A First Field Dressing (unopened), and some quinine tablets, as issued to the 'Chindits', together with another canvas pouch and a waterproofed pouch marked WE1940
(g) A large quantity of written and printed ephemera, mostly relating to Private James's service in the Middle East and Burma, including his service and pay books, release book, some telegrams, photographs of the recipient, and his three identity discs
