These Pembroke tables, with their characteristic diminishing husks set within channelled legs and stylised paterae, belong to the suite of furniture indigenous to Hillbrough Hall and probably supplied to Ralph Caldwell, agent to Thomas Coke of Holkham Hall, Norfolk, later 1st Earl of Leicester (2nd creation)
