Sarah Louisa Kilpack is not recorded as being born in the Channel Islands although it is assumed that she spent a considerable amount of time there. She frequently stayed with her friends Jurat & Mrs C.G. Renouf at Linden Villa, St. Saviours, Jersey. She produced a significant quantity of small oils and watercolours, mostly of rocky coastal scenes painted in a dramatic, vibrant style.
