A George III mahogany longcase clock, the case on bracket feet with raised shaped panel to the quoined plinth, the flame venered door flanked by reeded quarter columns, the hood flanked by detached reeded gilt metal Corinthian columns supporting the swan-neck pediment surmounted by three gilt ball finials, the dial signed John Greenall Bold on a silvered arc in the arch with painted rolling moonphase, the silvered chapter ring with concentric calendar ring (lacking hand), the centre with subsidiary seconds ring and gilt mask engraved with trellis-work and foliage, foliate spandrels, the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement and now striking on a gong, with alterations
