A FRENCH OVAL JARDINERE WITH FOUR MATCHING CIRCULAR DESSERT STANDS AND A PAIR OF MATCHING SILVER MOUNTED PEAR-SHAPED CLARET JUGS, each on four hoof, column and ram's mask feet, each pierced and chased with foliate scrolls, ribbons and floral swags and engraved with a monogram within an oval cartouche between applied doves, cherubs and flaming torches, the jugs with similar mounts and with leaf-capped double scroll handle and hinged domed cover with vine tendril finial, circa 1880, maker's mark indistinct, the jardinere with clear glass liner
