The crest is that of Gower for Glanville Leveson Gower (d.1754), created 1st Earl Gower on 8th July 1746. He married firstly Lady Evelyn Pierrpont, third daughter of Evelyn, Duke of Kingston, on 17th March 1711, secondly Penelope, widow of Sir Henry Atkins Bt. and daughter of Sir John Stonehouse 7th Bt., on 21st October 1733 and thirdly Mary, widow of Anthony Grey, Earl of Harold and daughter and co-heir of the 6th Earl of Thanet.
The Earls Gower and Thanet are amongst the most well known of de Lamerie's clients (4)
