FIRST EDITION IN ITALIAN. This Arabic treatise dealing with the division of rectilinear figures into equal parts of various numbers or in given ratio was discovered by Dee who thought it to be derived from Euclid's lost treatise 'On Divisions of figures'. It was published in Latin in the same year. Adams M-1893.
