The Duke of Wellington and his staff watch as a troop of Royal Horse Artillery, escorted by the 16th Light Dragoons, pass with their guns. Accompanying the Duke's staff are 3 cavalry officers, probably of the 11th and 16th Light Dragoons and the 15th Hussars.

The Crossing of the Bidassoa took place on 7 October 1813.
