Plate II [7] and 3d. on laid paper [10] all cancelled "10", the 1d. Plate I and 3d. tied by framed "ADVERTISED/AND/UNCLAIMED" in red and showing, on reverse, oval d.s. of Carcoar, Bathurst, Campbelltown, Yass, Melbourne and Mount Alexander. Believed to be the earliest stamped cover from Carcoar. A remarkable and almost certainly unique franking of outstanding quality. Photo in colour on front cover.
