used Mixed Plates: Range with plate 1a (4, with a pair); plate 1b (10, two of these originally belonging to E. included with lot) and 1d. red (2); plate II (9, one being on large piece); plate III (6, one being with part sheet margin at left, another being on small piece); plate IV (7); plate V (11, one being matched in red and another five in red); plate VI (13, one being on E.); plate VII (8, one being on E.) and 1d. red (5, one being on E.); plate IX (3, two being on E's.) and 1d. red (6, one being on U5); plate 10 (3) and 1d. red on E.; plate XI 1d. red (11), all with four margins (very large to exceptional at places) and mostly neatly cancelled in black or red, most are neatly annotated with many guide lines, re-entries, varieties, double letters, etc., chiefly good to fine and a most attractive group (104)
