A LARGE MEGARIAN POTTERY BOWL, of deep hemispherical form, with moulded relief decoration comprising a central rosette on the base from which radiate four pedestals, each flanked by a theatrical mask above an amphora with twining tendrils to either side, the encircling shoulder frieze with leafy tendril with acorns, 1st Century B.C.
