A ROMAN TERRACOTTA FRIEZE FRAGMENT WITH DIONYSIAC SCENE, moulded in high relief, showing the bust of a Maenad looking to the left, wearing a chiton, her hair falling in ringlets over her shoulders and bound by a fillet adorned with ivy leaves and flowers, in her left hand is held a thyrsus, to the right is another female figure looking to the left, her wavy hair caught back in a thick fillet, to the left are traces of a third figure holding a thyrsus, the upper border with egg and dart frize, circa 1st Century A.D.
