A GEORGE I BURR-WALNUT AND WALNUT SECRETAIRE-CABINET
Feather-banded to the front, the cavetto moulded cornice above a pair of quarter-veneered panelled doors enclosing an arrangement of nine drawers below a concave-fronted drawer and above a pair of candle-slides, the lower section with a fitted secretaire-drawer with green baize-lined writing-surface, eight pigeon-holes and four small drawers, above two short and two long graduated drawers, on later bracket feet, restorations and replacements, the candle-slides lacking handles
