A Mokkogata Onin Iron Tsuba
Unsigned, late Muromachi period (late 15th/early 16th Century)
Its four corners pierced as inome, each lobe of the mokko pierced in ko-sukashi with stylised Genji-mon, a fan, cherry and plum blossom, the plate inlaid with flowerheads, mitsuhiki-bishi and scrolling foliage, square mimi, with a wood box
