The dark oval iron plate decorated with a fruiting grape vine in brass hirazogan, surrounded by a band of sagari-fuji [wisteria], raised dote-mimi

The grape and vines are well defined with skilfully applied hirazogan for which Tadashige is justly celebrated. There are two generations with the same name and a swordsmith with a similar signature is recorded.
