The grape and vines are well defined with skilfully applied hirazogan for which Tadashige is justly celebrated. There are two generations with the same name and a swordsmith with a similar signature is recorded.

For three tsuba by the same artist, see Torigoe, K, Tsuba Kanshoki, (Tokenshunju Shinbunsha, Tokyo, 1975), p.58 & 59.
