The artist of the first piece was a student of Konkan and mostly made
ishime-ji work. He later shaved his head and became a nyudo.

The Inagawa school was of the Yanagawa line. The main characteristics of the school are the use of shakudo nanako and takabori iroe
in Yanagawa style. However, they were also known to use the "itto
ho"
method which is the skilful technique of "one tool carving".
