SIGNED GOTO SEII AND KAO, LATE EDO PERIOD (19TH CENTURY)

Goto Seii was a student of Goto Seijo. The Goto Seijo family moved to be independent before the 10th generation of the Goto mainline. The Goto Seijo family was also known as Shimoya Goto. They did not participate in Shirobei family meetings and became more like machibori artisans. Sometimes the Goto Seijo line is excluded from the Goto lineage.
