Lot Essay

The signature Nara saku is shiire hin and of better than usual standard. It can also be seen on the works of other schools e.g. Choshu Hagi Kawaji saku, Inshu ju Suruga saku, Aizu ju Shoami saku, Echizen ju Haruta saku and several others.

For a similar example to the second piece, see Ikeda, S, Nara Sansaku, (Chugoku paal, Tokyo, 1991), no. 87.
