The shakudo ishime-ji base metal decorated with sparrows perched on a camellia in gold, silver and copper zogan, the details in iroe, signed Genshosai Masaharu; and the shakudo ishime-ji plate decorated with pine needles and cones in takabori and gold iroe zogan, signed Tankasai Motoaki kaku, both with a wood box (4)

Masaharu was the son of Tamagawa Yoshinaga who was metalworker to the Mito clan. At first, he was a student of Shoji Yoshimasa and then later travelled to Edo and continued with Ishiguro Masatsune.
