The nanako base metal decorated with a crawling centipede in takabori and gold zogan, signed Tsuka gashira dosaku, Shigetaka, mid Edo period (18th century), with a wood box; and the other showing the scene of Raijin making lightning in takabori, copper shakudo and gold zogan, the second signed Masasada, late Edo period (19th century) (4)

For the artist of the first fuchi-kashira: both the first and second generation of the Sasaki family called themselves Sasaki Shigetaka. There is also Shigeyasu and Shigeyoshi within the family who lived in Kyoto and Edo.
