A MEISSEN TURQUOISE-GROUND PART TEA AND COFFEE-SERVICE painted with lovers and companions after Watteau within densely wooded landscapes within ombrierte gilt quatrefoil and scrolling foliage cartouches within elaborate Gitterwerk borders, comprising:-
A baluster coffee-pot and cover (minute rim chip to cover)
A baluster hot-milk jug and cover (chip to cover, finial lacking, chips to inside of footrim)
A circular sugar-bowl and cover, the gilt branch finial with coloured flower terminals
An arched rectangular tea-caddy
A slop-bowl
Four teabowls (one with minute footrim chips)
Four coffee-cups (two with damage to base of handle)
Twelve saucers
blue crossed swords marks and gilder's 49. to all pieces, various Pressnummern, circa 1745
