The blade honzukuri, iorimune with slight sori, chu-gissaki, forged with itame, tempered edge sanbonsugi of nie and nioi, kaeri-boshi, tang ubu, 21in. (53.3cm.); with a roironuri ribbed saya with Goto style shakudo nanako kurikata decorated with a dragon and a ken in shakudo takazogan and gilt, the cotton bound tsuka with shakudo and gilt menuki of a hare and peony, Nara style shibuichi fuchi-kashira decorated with a dragon and clouds, copper and irogane nanako kozuka and kogai decorated with karashishi and a flying crane and a square shibuichi tsuba decorated with a pine and the moon, slight wear
