Bridget, daughter of Philip Bacon of Ipswich, married firstly Edward Eure of Ipswich, secondly Sir Cordell Firebrace, 1737, and thirdly William Campbell of Lyston Hall, Essex, 1762. This portrait was painted to commemorate her second marriage in 1737.
