A fine pair with the "Thousand Monkeys" design, the eyes gilt, the base plate of shakudo and copper, signed Yagami Jogen Niudo; shakudo ishimeji, gilt chidori over waves, the spray gilt; shakudo with a gold dusted ground, waves in takabori and a rock in shibuichi takazogan, the kashira inlaid with a minogame in shibuichi, signed Washio; shakudo nanako, a tiger and bamboo in iroe takazogan, with signature Naomasa; copper, Hotei and his sack in low relief and iroe zogan, with signature Issando Joi and kao; shibuichi, the kashira formed as a shishi's head, gilt details, the fuchi with iroe takazogan of cranes over waves; and shibuichi, iroe takazogan of a Chinese man and a female, with signature Yasuchika, the last two sets associated (7)
