The Following drawings were commissioned by T.H. Newman and were executed with the purpose of recording and publishing all the descriptions of forms not described in the body of The British Museum Catalogue of Birds, XXI, 1893. Unfortunately the drawings were never published. The titles of the drawings are transcribed directly from the latin inscription on the individual drawings
