Lot Essay

There is an inscription by John Byam Shaw on the first page of the album which reads: 'This album was given to me by Iolo Williams - All the drawing seem to be by MN. Frampton/of Moreton, Dorset, whose mother was Phyllis Byam. His sister married Evelyn Shirley of Ethington Park, Warwick (of Lord Ferrer's family), there is a drawing of him/JBS.'
