AN AXE, of glaive form, with long narrow knife-shaped blade double-edged towards the upper point and with a pierced 'beard' below, four long straps, and wooden staff of hexagonal section (wormed), 15th/16th Century; a doloir with characteristic broad offset blade of elongated triangular shape rounded below, struck on one face with a mark, ST, and incised with a number, perhaps the date 1719, and later wooden staff, 17th/18th Century; and an axe, in 15th Century style, the cusped crescentic blade pierced with brass-lined circular holes and struck with a cross mark, beak-shaped fluke, and wooden staff
