ANOTHER, in 16th Century style, with broad flat double-edged fullered blade, guard of slender writhen bars, comprising straight moulded quillons, single arm with inner thumb-loop, double side-ring linked by a diagonal on the outside to the knuckle-guard, oval mushroom-shaped pommel chiselled with acanthus foliage, and wire-bound writhen wooden grip
