Philippart', faceted trigger-guard, large acorn-shaped finial, and set trigger, 19th Century; a German sporting crossbow with small steel bow (possibly a replacement), string, walnut tiller with gun-stock butt carved with a flower on each side and inlaid with shaped bone panels engraved with circles, ebonised patch-box cover inlaid en suite, indented brass trigger-guard, iron nut, and set trigger, mid-19th Century; and a sporting crossbow with later bow composed of four steel laths held by four brass collars, walnut tiller (worn) with gun-stock butt, plain iron mounts including side-plates prolonged to form long butt tangs with acorn finial, trigger-lever with turned acorn finial, and iron gaffle-pegs, nut and butt-plate, early 18th Century, possibly East Anglian
