A BOHEMIAN FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOL with two-stage sighted barrel retaining some of its original blue and with brass-filled mark of Paul Breitenfelder of Carlsbad (Neue Støckel 7148), flat bevelled lock engraved with the seated figure of Minerva and martial emblems within a landscape (missing, screw incomplete, mainspring broken), figured walnut full stock (fore-end cracked and repaired) inlaid with staghorn scrolls and pellets, gilt-brass mounts decorated with scrollwork and rocailles in relief, the side-plate with a scene of the chase in a landscape, the pommel formed as an eagle's head with a pink tounge, and horn-tipped ramrod, circa 1730-40
