In the form of a gourd cut in half, a small gourd attached to one side to make the himotoshi, the rim with a key-fret design signed Doraku; and a stained ivory netsuke of a monkey seated on a huge mikan, peeling its skin to reveal the fruit, signed Eigyoku
1¾in. (4.3cm.) long and 1½in. (3.8cm.) high respectively (2)
