William King (1711-1767) born on 15 April 1711, was the third surviving son of Peter King, who was created 1st Lord King in 1725 and served as Lord Chancellor from 1725 until 1733. He suceeded his second brother as 4th Baron King in 1754 and died unmarried in 1767
