Of a monkey holding a string which is wrapped around a terrapin's body; another holding an inro in one hand and studying a netsuke through a pair of spectacles, age cracks; a young one pushing a larger one by a wasp nest; another seated with a magnifying glass in his hand, studying a beetle crawling on top of a persimmon, eyes inlaid in horn, signed Masatomo, slight old wear; a tiger, eyes inlaid in metal, with signature Masahiro, age crack; a seated oni, his arms and legs crossed, partly stained, inlaid with metal, aogai and horn, signed Yasuaki; carved from a nut, a man cuddling a puppy in his arms, signed Ichizan; an ivory ojime decorated in iroe hiramakie with flowers, bamboo and a butterfly; and another in wood and lacquer with a band of reishi fungus, metal himotoshi
