A study for the painting dated 1752, one of four executed for the dining room in Veitshöchheim, a country residence of the Prince Bishop outside Würzburg. In the painting, now in the Mainfränkisches Museum at Würzburg, the design is cut down on the right and to a lesser extent along the top
