gouache heightened with gold on paper, one depicting Durga and Kali standing before the advancing host of demons, the second with the same two gods reinforced by Brahma, Vishnu, Lakshmi, Karttkeya and others, each on their respective vehicles, in the midst of active combat, the third showing Durga and Kali fighting three demons, two of which are in a chariot, each with blue margin painted with gold leafy motifs, red sprinkled pink leaf, the paper flyleaf with black devanagri inscriptions, the fourth depicting Durga slaying the buffalo demon, in a landscape with stormy sky, a stream in the foreground, blue margin with gold leaf motifs, pink leaf, flyleaf with black devanagri inscription
