an encyclopaedic work containing fifty dissertations on subjects from religion to astronomy, manuscript on buff paper, 250ff. as numbered, each with 21-23ll. of flowing black naskh, red circles between phrases, occasional words and phrases written in larger red or maroon script, headings in larger black naskh, some folios with red margins, a number of folios with tables or with text written in two columns, opening folios with a list of contents, (minor smudging and staining, incomplete, poening folio an early replacement), various ownership seals at on opening folios, maroon morocco binding (stained, repaired), black morocco doublures (repaired), in red presentation box
