A GHAZNAVID WHITE BRONZE BOWL, of heavily spun hemispherical form, the interior with a circle of radiating lobes terminated by concave circles within a plain banded border, the flattened rim with five bands of circles, the exterior with a six-pointed star surrounded by four different panels of zig-zags and lozenge lattices divided vertically by lobes, a double border of punched circles above, the decoration highlighted by both punched and concave circles, 10th century, (charcoal grey patina)
