A SYRIAN MOTHER-OF-PEARL INLAID AND MASHRABIYE DOUBLE CHAIR, each with flat panelled back, curving flat-topped arms and bow-fronted base on turned feet, all surfaces with carved panels of arabesque medallions or stylised geometric kufic inscriptions within panels of extremely fine mashrabiye work within borders of mother-of-pearl inlaid geometric panelled designs, carved openwork cresting above and below, circa 1900 (slight damages ot mashrabiye, some panels loose)
