A 'GOLD' TUBAGA" CUT BAR, approximately 3in. x 1½in. (75mm. x 40mm.), 6.938oz. (215.1g.), cut from the end of a bar, traces of royal tax stamp, letter S, and unidentified symbols : and: incuse squares, all at one end of the upper surface, a crowned C in an incuse, possibly for Charles V, on the reverse, some minor encrustations but a clean piece, yellow colour due to very small percentage of copper, and with very clear marks
