by the Imperial Porcelain Factory, St. Petersburg, period of Nicholas I
Shaped tapering cylindrical, on square base, the shaped stem moulded with acanthus leaves and partially with gilt ciselé foliate scrolls on blue ground, the body painted with 'The Singer' after Jacob Lucas Ochtervelt, the reverse with gilt ciselé roundels and scrolls on blue ground, below a band of moulded gilt acanthus leaves with two mythical figures with swan's heads and fishes tails, the spreading rim with gilded rosettes, scallop and other decoration on blue ground, marked inside rim
