Two albums containing ephemera including prints, press cuttings and postcards, one with blue velvet cover, other full cloth with E. C. T, Scrap Book 1846 stitched on upper cover, 4to., and 8vo.; a cartoon sketch, 4 x 4¾in., in ink probably by Alfred Taylor of a waggon inscribed ...AMBRIDGE PHOTOGRAPHY SALOON with caption Portraits taken in all weathers; two invitation cards addressed to the photographer from the Pharmaceutical School and Society. Lot Essay

Edith Taylor was the daughter of Alfred and in 1865 married Frederick Methold of Bury St. Edmunds. A number of Italian topographical prints appear in the scrapbook and Alfred Taylor is known to have lived and travelled in Italy for some years before he was married.
