This, and the prints in the following four lots, were printed for a series of exhibitions organized by the Institut für Wohnkultur between 1942 and 1945. Each has an exhibitions stamp Gauheimatwerk Südhannover-Braunschweig Schautafeln and a later authentication stamp signed by Gerd Schnakenwinkel of the Galerie für Fotografie on the back of the mount.
