Eighty-seven are studies of window and interior displays at Saks & Co., sixteen of Macy & Co., ten of Lord & Taylor, seven of Bonwit-Teller and seven of Bamberger's, Newark. Other stores featured include Mark Cross, Abercrombie & Fitch, Bergdorf Goodman, F. W. Woolworth & Co., McCreery, Bloomingdale's, Best & Co. and Stern Bros. During this period Sidney Ring was the display director for Saks and was known for heading a team of perfectionists who usually changed the display of all thirty-one windows every week.
