cover 2c. used from Kuching (8 July 1938) to Switzerland, bearing additional 2c. tied by Kuching c.d.s., showing unframed "T" with manuscript "10 ctms" alongside and bearing Swiss Postage Due 10c. applied and cancelled on arrival (6 Aug.); upon delivery the card was refused, the Postage Due was handstamped "UNGULTIG" (invalid) and a small tri-lingual "Refusé" label affixed. The card was returned and shows oval "DEAD LETTER OFFICE/SINGAPORE" d.s. in red for 7 Sept. and violet "UNDELIVERED FOR REASONS/STATED/RETURN TO SENDER" h.s. A remarkable item. Photo
