Titanic" coloured view card (creased) to Macclesfield, Cheshire; bearing G.B. 1d. cancelled with "TRANSATLANTIC POST OFFICE" c.d.s Message notes "... we are catching the mail at Cherbourg". The Titanic sank on 15 April 1912; the senders, William Angle (lost) and his wife (survived) were second class passengers, from Warwick. Rather soiled, but one of the few known postal items.
