A PAIR OF MEISSEN DARK-BLUE-GROUND CIRCULAR DISHES, the centres painted with views of Pillnitz and Dresden, within scalloped gilt diaper cartouches outlined with groups of roses and foliage, the wells edged with gilt whorls suspending interlaced scrolls and the borders reserved with flowers painted in white-ground mirror-shaped scroll cartouches within shaped gilt rims (one cracked and with small associated glazed chip on the reverse), blue crossed swords marks, titled in black script, one with Pressnummern 13 and 3, painted numbers 50, circa 1880
